An autumn or winter weekend by the sea

The coast has a special charm once summer is behind us: changing skies, almost empty beaches, soft light. Autumn and winter are excellent seasons for a short stay.

Morning: fresh air

A walk on the beach or along the esplanade of Le Tréport wakes you up better than a coffee. Wrap up warm and let the wind do the rest.

Afternoon: heritage and markets

This is the time to visit Eu and its château, or to wander around Mers-les-Bains. Stop by the harbour too, to bring back fish and shellfish.

Evening: cooking at the cottage

The cottage has a raclette set, a crêpe maker and a plancha. With friends or family, a raclette or crêpe evening is a real treat after a day outdoors.

And a little remote working?

The upstairs landing has a desk, with free wifi and fibre: handy for stretching a weekend by working a few hours facing the sea… or almost.
